What is singapuLAH?
Because everybody has the right to speak in Singlish without being told what’s the RIGHT WAY to speak. We sincerely believe Singlish is something unique to Singaporeans, and it is worth preserving. Even with its non-existent grammar, Singlish helps thousands of Singaporeans every day to express ideas, release stress and order drinks at Kopitiam.
Our aim in Singapulah is not about making Singlish a national language – it is about sharing the laughter and passion of a language that relates to our multi-cultural and multi-racial society.
Rather than correcting your Singlish, it will be more fun if we can just show the world how Singlish can bring more laughter and life to the world. Our first book: The Three Little Pigs Lah was thus born, and it has since been on the bookshelves of many homes globally.
